I'm Jonathan (the other one), I'm from the USA, and I'm your host for the Lyngstadium.
Since I was a kid, I've been familiar with the word "ABBA" but I've never come to fruition with their music until recently, then.
I only knew the Mamma Mia and the Chess musical play (and of course, ABBA Gold), but not their entire discography ranging from early pre-ABBA materials to Benny and Björn synthpop like "Just Like That".
The first ABBA member I saw was Anni-Frid Lyngstad on a "Mamma Mia" music video, and I've come to learn about her singing career, and her album.
Nonetheless, she is a fascinating lass to read.. Regarding Agnetha; I also love her as much as I love Frida.
So I was quite quick to catch on her discography and her history with Polar... and the rest is history. I won't brag excessively, but I have an autographed photo of her.
Aside from ABBA and Frida, I like popular music of the mid-20th century such as the Beatles, Beach Boys, Electric Light Orchestra, Sparks and experimental-progressive music in the likes of the Residents, Yes, Frank Zappa and more.
My hobbies include playing the guitar, spending time with playing musical instruments, and collecting vinyl records... yes, I do have ABBA records; no, I won't sell them....
